I hate the way when I have a time limit–we’re going grocery shopping in an hour, or I’m going back to work in a week–I just can’t seem to do anything. Deadlines are fine. I can work to a deadline. A very good thing, since I want a writing career. But limits? Limits get me.

Okay, back on my soapbox here. There’s something I just can’t stand, and people don’t see the problem. Pardon me, I’m going to be offensive for a moment. If you were trying to accomplish something, and some stupid little bureaucratic SNAFU got in the way, would you say, “That’s so Latino!” ? Or, “How black!”
