It’s formatted, it’s all in one file, it’s fiddled with and edited and fixed, and it is–hold on to your hats–it is 913 pages. Really. 246,635 words. Oh my God. I need to go to bed, I go back to work tomorrow, and I have to be there in nine hours. But I can’t. I

I don’t know why I’m like this, so don’t ask. But I just need to torture my characters! Please note, not want, I need to torture them. I’m not that sick. Case in point–Donte, main character in the next book. Orphan, street-wise con-man in-the-making, some confidence, lots of bravado, quick brain and a quick mouth.
