Writing Life

The life most real to me. As evidenced by the preponderance of posts.

Ve-get-a-bles

I made a yummy dinner with lots of vegetables in it tonight. “You are what you eat,” explains the rest of my evening. Well, it’s not that bad.  I did send the first chapter of Flame to Race, and she’s very happy.  (Yay!!)  She asked for a bit more description, though, and I allowed that […]

More Editing, yay

I’ve really about had it with editing.  I want to write!  But what I need to write now, needs heavy editing first. What I had of the first draft of Flame came to 15,366 words.  I’ve already cut about 600.  I love how that tightened up the first chapter! But it’s Joss that is beating

The one-pass revision thing worked pretty well, though I did stall for a bit.  I hate to think how long that would have taken without the program! Really,

More Not-Writing

I remember once ranting that people rold me to take a break between books and how I didn’t want to. Seems it doesn’t matter what I want.  I’m stuck in the middle of a break whether I want it or not.  I just can’t get going again.  Nothing I have tried has helped. Ah well.
