I’m pushing. Really. 1,538 words, each one felt like it was drawn through the nose with a red-hot hook… Yeah, did you get the mummy-making reference? Whatever. This is turning into quite a slog. I thought I already wrote nearly this fast, but clearly not. And I’m not sure my ending is going to work.
Partly because I’m halfway through. Partly because the kids get out an hour early, and the teachers mostly go away, and therefore I am free (mostly) to get some of my piled-up crap dealt with. That free feeling of having somewhat cleared the decks carries over when I get to come home to enough leftovers

Is it a good thing I’m getting to hate Mondays more than Tuesdays? Tuesdays have long been a bad day for me, but Mondays… Maybe it’s just the return after the long weekend. I think I’d rather remain the oddball who hates Tuesdays. Me and Arthur Dent, who never could get the hang of Tuesdays.
Okay, Friday was awesome, but I clearly can’t do that every day. 1412. A Sunday. Not real productive for a Sunday, sigh. Guess I should have gotten to laundry at some point. Breaking the 20K mark felt good, though. Next stop, 30K!
