So do shitty days at work.
I got my rejection from that agent today. Therefore I spent my evening working on my query and synopsis. Taro goes back out tom–okay, probably Thursday. Since it is now 10:30, and that happens to be my get-headed-toward-bed-because-it-will-take-half-an-hour-at-least-to-get-there time.
Why the urgency, you ask? Well, maybe because after yesterday’s parent (you remember, my “personal crusade”) the district called back to tell me to contact the mother for more. After THEY told her what she had was sufficient. Why don’t THEY get to follow up on it?
Oh, and now that she can no longer earn a trip to the fair, Hope is back to driving her teacher insane.
