Finally, SOMETHING seems to be working for Miss Center of the Known Universe. Today in her karate lesson, her teacher asked her to practice her kicks, while she helped someone else. The teacher told her to do ten. Hope did ten, and then, when the teacher was still busy, went on to twenty. Then thirty, then forty. She didn’t yell for attention, she didn’t expect congratulations, she just continued with something useful while she waited. I was so proud, I nearly cried!
I’m also pretty enthused that she read a book on Saturday. Not a short one, either. And today she had a purple light at school (that’s the worst of four colors) but she DIDN’T have her name written on the board. This is PROGRESS!!!!
