So I finally got all my old blogs uploaded.
Sorta.
If you go to the left and click on “Broken” or “Babble,” you’ll see what I mean. It says there are over eight hundred entries categorized “Babble.” But it will only show you three. In “Broken” you can see many more, but probably still not all of them.
It’s WordPress. I tried uploading my files elsewhere; they work just fine. But most of the entries I uploaded here get only the first sentence. Even in those, you can’t see the entry till I go in and change some random bit of code that got inserted in every single one.
I went to the support forum. No one there has ever had this problem, apparently. I got that from searching. I’m not going to start a topic and ask. Not that I’m too proud to take help; I know my limitations. Because those forums don’t seem to BE helpful. From what I’ve seen, they are haunted by petty geeks who feel the need to stomp on anyone who is actually dumb enough to need their help.
So. F*cked up posts. Some nine hundred of them. Big deal? Not really. I mean, it’s not The Lost Letters of Hemingway, after all. It’s just…irritating. More than four years of entries, and I have to fix each and every one in order to preserve it.
Fuggit. I’ve got writing to do.
