I need to watch Priscilla, Queen of the Desert again. I didn’t hear all of it today. And it seemed like a movie I’d really like to pay more attention to. But what can you do? When you’ve got an adorable nephew sitting right there within squeezing range, movies just aren’t important.
I’m too tired to think. But I had a lot of fun today, and I came home and got things done, even though I can’t remember what they were.
I’m still using voice recognition, and it’s getting a lot better. I’m hopeful this will make a real difference in the things that I do to my body in pursuit of my career. I don’t like wrist pain, and I really hate when I want to rip my eyes out because they hurt so bad.
Are you noticing my blog entries are longer? That’s because I’m doing it with my eyes closed. But that’s enough playing around for tonight, I guess.
(just for your information, speech recognition isn’t about fun. My use of it is in no way caused by how cool it is to have my computer do what I tell it when I tell it to.)
So glad you got to see the fascinatin’ little fellow! Hope you are feeling better. Your comments about Vista make me want to try voice recog. again. I had one of IBM’s programs some years ago…must have been fewer than 10, as I was Rowan’s grandma then, and I remember how much trouble program had with that name…among other words! It took more editing time than it was worth! Happy October to you all.
