Apparently it’s going “beyond my job” to tell a kid she’s not wearing the school uniform.
But using my lunch break to go buy a kid a uniform shirt since he doesn’t have one and mom can’t buy him one? Well, that’s okay. At least, today. But these things change daily.
Fuggit. They wanna get on me for enforcing the rules? I won’t do it again. From now on, I don’t care. If it’s something really glaring, I’ll just have the kid have a seat and wait for admin. And I’m not dropping my work to go find one that’s available, either. They can sit there for hours for all I care. Not my job. I am now sanctioned to proclaim, “not my job!”
Hey, how many times a day can “really glaring” happen?
About fifty, I’m betting.
