…the rain is gone. Or at least, the old monitor. The new monitor…oh lord, is it gorgeous!
It’s a nineteen-inch widescreen. Nothing huge, but I don’t need huge. I just wanted to be able to view more than one window at a time without feeling cramped. I have that now. I love it. Also, I love how crisp and lovely everything is.
However, I categorically deny having spent over an hour browsing National Geographic for a wallpaper to match the beauty of my new monitor. >_>
(for the uninitiated, that’s a shifty-eyed look. My smileys still won’t work.)
On the edit/rewrite front, progress progresses. I wrote about 800 words, and threw away over 600 on this new scene. It’s worth it–the thing is gonna be awesome.
