I spent hours after I got home in a complete and utter daze, but I did survive another return to the working world. Wow. I actually got stuff done, too. Ooh.
Of course, the main thing I needed to do, I did not get to even begin. Since they’re not sure yet if they’re updating the legalese on a couple forms. They should know by Monday. So I can’t put registration packets together yet. As I need them ready at 0800 Monday morning for the first rush, that doesn’t do me much good.
Ah well. The new story has over forty viewings, and three reviews. I’m told I write great smut.
Now I need to write great other stuff.
But not tonight. This evening I spent surfing around reading everything canon I could find on Weiss, because when I don’t have the time to concentrate on the paying stuff, it’s FUN to hone my skills on the other stuff. And let me tell you, the world of Weiss is even more depressing than I ever knew. Now I’m going to bed. I worked very hard today, and I deserve a (slightly) early night.
And if you hear howls of rage, it’s because another of those damn fanfics whacked me out of sleep demanding to be written at three in the morning. My muse can be a real bitch. (It’s plural, actually, but it didn’t sound right that way. Yes, my dears, I hear voices…sleep well, now.)
