Actually, I’m quite certain it’s a compliment. And I am very happy with it.
I posted the next fanfic tonight. And within half an hour I had a review that said–well, let me set it up a little.
Not sure if I’ve mentioned it, but one of the characters (one of the villains!) in Weiss Kreuz is a telepath. And as many telepaths seem to do (I’m serious, check the literature) he goes off the deep end once in a while from the pressure of all the minds weighing down on his. I imagine being a telepath in Tokyo is seriously oppressive. Not like, say, Hoboken.
Anyway. He was drunk and suffering, and his lover killed two women so he wouldn’t have to listen to them. And my reviewer said there must be something wrong with her, because it made her smile that Brad did that for Schu.
You’re making a face, I bet, but I call that one hell of a compliment. I made that sadistic bastard of a telepath, and his cold-blooded murderer lover, so real and sympathetic and multi-dimensional, that the action was sweet.
Tomorrow is the first day of registration, so I have to make this short. Let’s see, what else? 3,483 visits to the first fanfic, 144 to the second, and ten to the third. In maybe two hours it’s been up, that’s not too bad.
Umm…every time I sweep my porch off, it rains again. My new internet browser, Mozilla, is running just fine. The more I experiment, the more I like it. I may just go back and get Firefox, the e-mail program. If Mozilla is so much better than Internet Explorer…
Anyways. Good night, blog world. And if you show up in front of my desk tomorrow, please remember that a Playboy magazine does not constitute proof of address.
