I only thought I was tired before…
The second-worst day of the year is behind me. The worst is tomorrow. A few tidbits, and I am going to BED in order to prepare for it.
www.mozilla.org That’s where I got my new internet browser. I love it. Hasn’t crashed once, doesn’t talk back, does what I ask it when I ask it, and it comes in different colors.
Fanfics: #1 has 3,604 visits, 36 reviews. That’s an average of two per chapter. #2 has 186 visits, 4 reviews. It’s only one chapter. Same for #3, which has 50 visits and four reviews. Every last one of those is favorable. Which tells me I need to get published.
Other things telling me the same thing–my school district changed the contents of the registration packet on Saturday, at an inservice I passed over because it was optional and it cost money and it was on a Saturday. I found out twenty minutes before 200+ parents descended on me.
Apparently they’ve also instituted a dress code for staff. People, my clothes are decent. If I’m going to hear about my knees showing (this is what I hear, but I do not have official word yet) there’s gonna be trouble.
In case you thought that wasn’t enough, the new principal has declared the recycling bins are “ugly” and won’t be allowed in the school office this year. Do you have any idea how much recyclable materials we toss in a day? And what kind of an example is that to our students? It’s “ugly” so don’t bother? Agghhhh!!!!
