I do know how to do it. Been doing it three years. No, I’m not so arrogant as to say I know everything about it, and there’s no way anyone could give me tips on ways to make it easier here and there–but I do know my job.
So don’t come in my office and tell me I need to find and drop all the kids who haven’t been here since the first day of school and that will make your numbers come out right. First, I’ve looked. There aren’t any left. Everyone needing dropped has been dropped.
Second, if I subtract ten kids from the total enrollment, I’m also subtracting ten kids from your class totals. So your totals still won’t come out right. They’ll be smaller, but still not equal.
Go take a math refresher and let me do my job.
