This is the exact reason I have a 92 year old grandmother that doesn’t want to go in a nursing home. (Well, that and “This is why I had kids”) she doesn’t know her options.
Oh well, another day another dollar…. or something…
This makes me wonder if some people have ever talked to the grandparents they’re so worried about. I can tell you, if anyone tried to push MY grandmother into something she didn’t want…it’d probably be much like your grandma’s reaction to being pushed (even when it’s someone who loves her and wants what’s best for her doing the persuading). 😉
