I’m quite certain I meant to say something about that. But still. Quite an interesting study.
That’s really, really interesting. And more than a little disturbing.
And also weird, because I’ve always thought I believed in a just world, but according to that definition I really, really don’t. Which is… fascinating, and ties in with something one of my friends says, a bit, and ties in even more with some of the things I’ve learned in social psych. It’s sort of making me examine my belief that people are—basically, overall, on average—good. Not that I’ve changed my mind, but … I don’t know, I’m not really sure what I’m trying to say. That maybe this sort of thing reinforces that belief, as much as it hurts to know? Or something.
