Sadly Lacking

I used to be very happy with my cable service.  But when they keep advertising DVR then make it not easy to get, when we finally get it and the box spends six hours downloading and they say give it another twelve before they’ll try to fix it…

Listen, gang, I watch ONE HOUR of TV a week.  I want my hour, damn it!  No, I will NOT be understanding about it!  Did you happen to mention when you said “just bring the old one down” that we would be TV-less for sixteen straight hours, one of those MY HOUR?

Here’s a thought–before you hand over the new box–stick it in the back room and update it!  If you bring some out and plug them in every night, next day you won’t have customers threatening to leave forever because A) they’re going to miss Bleach and it’s all your fault, or B) the OSCARS are on and you’d BETTER have the thing working by nightfall.  (it was.  Bly got to watch.  But I missed Bleach!!!!)
