Got through about fifty pages of revisions before I gave up for the night.
Hey! I am NOT a wimp! It’s past midnight, and I have to be back on a normal sleep schedule in two days…
Anyway, that’s pretty good progress, considering I wasn’t able to work on it most of the day. I also re-wrote my theme, my story arc, and some of my blurb, as prescribed by Ms Holly Lisle, writing mentor. Check this out.
“Taro Hibiki-Marcori has the perfect life planned out before him. College, a bright career as captain of his own ship, eventually a family…unfortunately, it isn’t his plan. Eve Marcori, his adopted sister, is making all the arrangements, and she hasn’t asked for his input.
“Rafe Ballard isn’t looking to ruin any plans, especially those of a devoted sister who is also a former Marine. He just needs a place to hide when his ex-girlfriend’s jealous husband comes looking. But when the jealous husband kidnaps both Rafe and Taro, everybody’s plans go out the airlock.”
I’d read it.
