So here in Tucson, there’s the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, which has animals in as home-like an environment as they can manage and really they do pretty well.
Then there’s the Wildlife Museum and it’s full of taxidermied trophy animals, or so the story goes.
They’re both on the same road. I used to get them mixed up. I mean, doesn’t “wildlife museum” sound like it has live animals, if it’s a choice between that and the desert museum?
It’s the desert museum that has the live animals. Though this guy is posing so well he looks stuffed.
Every time I looked away from him, he posed a little more awesomely. Talk about a ham! I barely got any shots of the girls, because I’m a sucker for a show-off when I’ve got a camera in my hand.
Talk about show-offs, here is an upside-down underwater otter.
So this, as some might have guessed, is a very belated blog about the rest of Adventure Week way back when. Tomorrow we’re going to Tombstone. I’ll try to remember to take my camera.
I have errands to run, so I’ll just leave you with the rest of the album should you care to peruse it.
