Oh wow, has it been that long since I blogged? Yikes. Well, there isn’t much new to talk about, still working on that fanfiction. I’m a couple chapters short of the end, I think, and at a chapter a day…wow.
I’m telling you. I am churning out 2000-3000 words a day, 3rd person POV from different characters, two romances and a couple subplots going–I did NOT know I could write like this. It helps that the characters are not original, but still. Characters have always been the easy part for me. I could have done this completely on my own.
And THAT makes this fanfic worth the effort, if nothing else did. But lots of other things make it worth it. I’ve enjoyed a lot of (ahem) self-indulgent (ahem) time spent reading fics on this site, so it’s good to give back. And I’m getting some awesome reviews! Not to mention how awesome it feels, when I got to post a new chapter and find the last one has been read 80 times since the last time I dropped in…
And I’ve got three people offering to help with the German in the story. (Schuldig is German) and a compliment on my (non-existent!) Japanese! Which is funny, since I studied German in high school, but only watched a whole lot of subtitled anime for any Japanese I’ve picked up. ::snicker::
