Yeah, I put the timer on. Sue me. 😉
Seriously, been having a tough time getting ANYTHING done lately. I’ve been working late a lot, and by the time I get home, get dinner dealt with, get dishes done, get to my desk, at least poke at homework…well, by the time I could possibly turn to anything like–oh, I don’t know, NANO PLANNING or blog posting or even clearing my desk off, the Get Up and Go has got up and went.
I hate when my real life–my writing, my blog, my creativity–suffer at the hands of my “real” life. I’ve been good at not letting that happen, but not so much of late.
And now my cat shows up wanting pets. I can give him thirty seconds…
…so then. Umm, not much going on in my life but work, of late. I did sell, at last, the old car. I got sniffly about it–she’s been good to me for something like thirteen years.
Not so sniffly I decided to return the new one, though. 🙂
Here’s a pic of a bunch of weird people gathered around my precious when we went to Yuma this weekend.
More Sporky meet-ups! Yay! *hugs re: selling old car* That’s always hard, even when they won’t run anymore.
She went to a good home, though. The young lady who purchased her was VERY glad to have a car to save her walking home from work late at night. Made me feel a lot better about selling.
My day job does that to me as well. By the time I get home, eat and get settled my body is ready to go to bed. I can’t write if my eyes are shut!
Obviously we should be independently wealthy. How else are we to accomplish all the brilliant works within us?
