So sue me, I just can’t leave it like that. I will be going back. I didn’t even get the incoming 6th graders filed.
But that’s next week. For now, I’m home. And after handling eight file-cabinets worth of files (no, not filing through eight of them, taking most of the files out, looking them up in the computer, sending some off and putting the rest back and filing everything I hadn’t already got done in the process) my hands really hurt.
I mean, really hurt. As in, typing is painful. If you’ve been following this blog, you’ll have some idea how much that truly sucks.
Officially, though, my vacation is begun. I can’t not write. So I’m updating calendars. I noticed a few days ago that when my hard drive crashed, one of the things I lost was the updates to my calendars, keeping everyone in my galaxy on the same time. So I’m doing my best to fix that. They still involve typing, but there’s lots of “reading for what day this happened” too, and it’s annoying detail work I’d normally avoid.
So now my head hurts too. Ah well. Must be done. I am getting published.
