I should have known better.
So. I got my 
query done. I got my synopsis done. I printed them and my first few chapters out, to do one more hand-edit.
Nine pages are missing, and half the rest of the document has completely formatting!!!
So much for my deadline. I have it backed up–but not all the changes. And what changes I still have, are scrawled across at least three different drafts. A friend has an apparently clean copy I sent her earlier this week, but she’s tried to send it back and I keep not getting it.
I’m going to watch something with lots of explosions and try again tomorrow.
