Last weekend (well, it was “last weekend” when I wrote this, but anyway,) I was so lucky to go and enjoy a cabin in a state park. I wrote about it for TDP here, with lots of pictures of birds and stuff.
I’m pleased to report that wildlife seems to have decided I am therefore one of them.
This pretty was hanging out in front of my house on Monday.

He had a look inside our palm tree, checking for tasty morsels.

Then he went back to the power pole for a bit, before flying off.

Yesterday when I arrived at work, these two were having a nibble. I’ve seen coyotes there a few times too, but I haven’t gotten any decent pictures. For whatever reason, they seem to be a bit more wary…?

And then recently, as I was driving home from getting water, this fellow (possibly the same fellow as in the first pics!) swooped down into a ditch as my car passed. NATURALLY I had to stop and gape at him trying to catch lunch! (sorry, I didn’t have my good camera with me. I couldnt even SEE my phone screen, to see how crappy the photo was!)

Aren’t you glad I didn’t just post more pictures of my cat?
Speaking of…

Be safe, friends. <3
❤❤❤ LOVE all the photos. State parks are wonderful, but wildlife nearby is even better.
