Bwahahaha! (that’s an evil laugh, ‘case you didn’t get it.) I am good. (singing) I found a way, I found a way…
Anime should be watched in Japanese. But subtitles are, well, helpful.
Fortunately for my editing intentions, there’s a very interesting fact about many, many, Japanese cartoon series. And that is, that most of them start out very kid-friendly, even the ones that absolutely are NOT. This is one of those. Um, hello? The lead characters are assassins. Just how long could it be kid-friendly?
So I got my ‘fix’ of anime, but now I’m limited to watching episodes I’ve already seen, or waiting until Hope’s asleep, in the tub, or duck-taped to the wall out of sight of the TV (just kidding! That would be cruel. I always let her watch TV when I need her out of my hair.) (Just kidding again!)
I watched *ahem* (blushes and speaks very softly) 6 episodes yesterday. I didn’t even finish the first DVD, and there are three DVDs. I want to watch some more, but that’s not an option, as Hope is enjoying a TV-free day thanks to her bad behavior at my test. (I let her choose which day to do without TV.) So I can’t even watch re-runs unless I get rid of her for a bit. Which isn’t going to happen, almost certainly.
Didn’t I say I was kidding about the duck-tape thing?
